Bright and cozy studio in a quiet rear building, featuring a unique layout with a combined bedroom and kitchenette, a large private bathroom with a rain shower, and a private entry that provides a sense of seclusion. Large windows with French linen curtains fill the space with natural light. The studio retains the charming historical features of the building, such as original brick walls and restored vaulted ceilings, giving the space character and warmth. Located in a historic former factory, this property is a true piece of Berlin’s industrial heritage. For over 100 years, the building housed various trades, from wagon making and ladies’ coat and cigar manufacturing to book printing and spiral spring production. The preserved architectural elements add a rich historical dimension to the cozy, modern living space.
I'm a documentary filmmaker, but you will most likely not see me, as the studio has a private entrance and a private bathroom.
Nestled in the rear of the building, the studio offers a peaceful environment while still being centrally located with excellent transit options. The U6 subway line is just 150 meters from the front gate, offering quick access to key city locations—only 10 minutes to Friedrichstrasse and about 15 minutes door-to-door to Humboldt University. The neighborhood is vibrant and full of hidden gems, just a 5-minute walk to Lindower Str., where you can enjoy great coffee at Coffee Circle, music at Migas listening bar, and dine at the renowned restaurant “Julius.” While there are no grocery stores directly on the street, a short walk will bring you to both traditional grocery chains and diverse Asian and ethnic markets.
