Welcome to our apartment Green Elephant! Enjoy a relaxing stay in the green at the on the outskirts of the beer- and hops- town Tettnang, just 1.5 km away from downtown The new established bright apartment is located on the Kaltenberg with a view down to Friedrichshafen. The kitchen is fully equipped and a dishwasher is available. All rooms are built with tile and parquet. Besides a floor heating, cooler moments can be heated with a masonry heater. You can find a valuable Bockspring-bed with different hardness in the bedroom. The bed couch has a smooth mattress with place for 2. In the large natural garden with a view to the Lake Constance and the hills, you can leave all one’s cares behind on our sun deck at the pond while listening to the small stream. According to the season you can enjoy cherries, grapes, chestnut or mulberries out of the garden. IMPORTANT ADVICE: The apartment is, because of the pond directly at the veranda, not qualified for children, which cannot swim but are already able to move around!
We are a family with 3 nearly grown up children and a border collie, who will be pleased to have you as our guests here by us.
The apartment is at the end of a dead road, surrounded by fruit plantations. Direct form the house, you can walk through the fruit gardens or on the hop-walk to the hop museum. The open-air pool of Tettnang is 2 km away. In Friedrichshafen, there is a new sports and fun pool for colder days. Furthermore Friedrichshafen and surroundings offers beside some museums (Dornier museum, Zeppelin museum, School museum) numerous watersports activities or boat trips around the Lake Constance also a direct connection to Constance per catamaran. Watchable places like Ravensburg, Meersburg, Bregenz or the Austrian hills can be reached in short distance by car. In Tettnang, it’s popular to walk he hop path, visiting the Hop museum with beer testing or learning to brew beer and also visiting the Castle of Montfort. Moreover Tettnang has a lot of taverns and an indoor tennis center with squash, badminton and sauna. The Ravensburger Spieleland is just 3 km away from home.
