Flamingo Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo. Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stories, banks and other conveniences. Construction began in December 2019 on a state-of-the-art marina that is expected to lead to an economic boom in this already prosperous town. Other recent developments here include the opening of the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on the very top of the North Ridge, plus the rebranding of the all-inclusive Flamingo Beach Resort as a Margaritaville, inspired by the lyrics and laid-back lifestyle of Jimmy Buffett.
