Familys welcome! Our appartment is located on a hill in a wonderful village in Bernese Oberland, Haslital next to Meiringen, between the imposing Aare Gorge (Aareschlucht) and the famous Reichenbach-Waterfalls, where Conan Doyle his detective Sherlock Holmes let fell to his death. Ground floor apartment with large terrace and spectacular view to the village and the mountains! In 10 - 15 minutes walking you reach the station of Meringen-Hasliberg, the excursion paradise where you enjoy countless trips and adventures. Directly from the appartement you can start to many walks, bike tours and motorcycle tours (for example alpine passes rides which are near distance). The appartment offers enough space vor 2 - 6 persons. There are zwo bedrooms with totaly 6 beds (one with a double boxspring-bed, one with 2 bunk beds), living room, spacious kitchen, bathroom with tube/shower, seperate guest toilet and spacious entrance.

We are Yolanda and Patrick with our 6 children (which no longer all live with us) and our cat and chickens. We have this beutiful big house with the 2 appartments and terrific view and like it very much to have guests to let them enyoj and explore the natur all around us and the region. Yolanda knows the guest hospitality from childhood on and is now working as head of Course Management in course center Ballenberg (Open Air Museum Ballenberg). Patrick originally is from the canton of grisons and also very familiar with the guest care. He works as Head of technical service in an nursing home. At home he is responsible for everything that has to be done at home and garden - and for the hens.

Visit the wild and romantic Reichenbachtal, the Glacier-Gorge in Rosenlaui, the primeval Urbachtal... There are 300 km marked hiking trails and also bike tours, the childrens Adventure trails of Muggenstutz, climbing walls, summit tours and alpine passes. In winter 60 km ski slopes, 25 km winter hiking - and snowshoe routs, view to 401 mountain peaks and plenty of sunshine!
