In just one hour, by car from Zurich, (a little longer via train and bus) and you can be in this hidden gem, Oberiberg! The spacious modern 3 1/2 room apartment, located right in the heart of the village! This apartement can be rented during all 4 Seasons! There are 2 balconies with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and over the village! The two bedrooms are tastefully decorated with a comfy bed and a nice wardrobe. The bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower. A heated towel rack is perfect to warm up your towels after a day on the slopes! There is also a separate toilet in the appartement. The kitchen is very spacious and modern with an induction cook top, oven/microwave combo, Dishwasher. You'll find a Nespresso Coffeemaker, (bring your own favourite coffee blend). Raclette and Fondue sets. If you prefer not to cook, there are many great Restaurants in and around Oberiberg! There is a TV and free internet available for your enjoyment. During summer and fall you can enjoy your morning coffee/tea on the balcony or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening to end the day while you listen to the cowbells in the far distance!
Hi there! I am a Swiss/Canadian Country-girl that grew up in this area. I am lucky to live in Canada now and also in Switzerland which are both beautiful countries! I love the mountains here and the endless hiking possibilities that Oberiberg and area has to offer! Oberiberg is pretty much paradise for us and our children and if we can get away; we might be back more often ourselves. I hope you'll enjoy your stay in Oberiberg and leave with many happy memories! Only a 2 minutes walk and you are at a wonderful bakery/coffee shop which is open daily! A Volg grocery store (open daily also) is right in the village as well and so are many wonderful Restaurants and bars! In 3 min. (or 1.3 Km from the apartment) you'll find the Laucheren chairlift which also brings you stress free to the Hoch Ybrig skiing area! Beside the Laucheren lift there is also a 2.5 Km long toboggan run. Toboggans can be rented at Holdener Sport or at the Stoeckli Rental and Service-center. Oberiberg is a 4 season Resort village and if you are looking for guidance on what to do, stop by the Tourism office on Tschalunstrasse 1 and the friendly, knowledgeable staff will gladly help you finding a perfect hiking route for you and your own fitness level or answer any other questions that you might have about the area!
