Carrousel B&B is in the quaint village of Cayuga in Haldimand County and is a must stay. The Grand River flows through the town, and offers water sports, fishing or just relaxing in the park. The B&B is on a quite street with a large lot and offers amble parking. The home is two story, and spacious and beautifully decorated. The Blue Lagoon Suite is the largest suite with a queen and single bed, great for the extra adult or child. Pets are welcome. it offers, TV, WIFI, fireplace, and a kitchenette area. The Yellow Suite has a queen bed, TV, WIFI, kitchenette area and a very spacious bathroom. The Green Serine Room has a queen bed, TV, WIFI and a kitchenette area. All rooms have antiques, and homemade quilts. Breakfast is your time, your choices from the menu. Fresh fruit, yogurt, orange juice, tea or coffee, bake goods first. Then choice from bacon or sausage, home fries, eggs any style with toast or French toast, pancakes, or omelettes. Home made jams to choice from are delicious.Breakfast is served on the best china in the dinning room. Drink your juice from a wine glass. Relax with a drink in the backyard on the swing by the fish pond. The house deck has wicker chairs and coffee table. See the birds, enjoy the flower beds that surround the property. Out of town workers, or business people love to stay here. It is a home away from home and offers special rates. They love the peace and quite after a busy day. Near by are many attractions, car racing , Ruthven National Park, River Boat Cruises, Famous Twisted Lemon Restaurant, quite flat roads to cycle or motorcycle. We offer a comfortable, friendly and inviting stay for our guests. The home is beautifully decorated. My home was built in 1974, is two story and spacious. A family was raised here and thus we know the people and committee. The B&B was started in 2002 and two very spacious suites were built in the basement. The Suites are quite and comfortable. I belong to the Cayuga Chamber of Commerce and know the local businesses. I chair the Cayuga Light Up Night and Santa Claus Parade and have been doing this for several years. Great volunteers work hard to make this Town and area welcoming for families. I was on the Heritage Committee for 20 years. I am a Retired Reg. Nurse. I am very involved with my Church and have been the President of the Ladies Church Group. I love gardening and have large flower beds surrounding the front and backyards. I love making quilts and all the beds have them. I am the Chair of our local South Coast B&B Association and we have meetings in each home, have speakers, and we are inspected and follow strict guidelines. Cayuga is a quaint village in Haldimand County. It has the Grand River flowing by it. It is only 1/2 hr South of Hamilton. Lake Erie to the South and only about 1/2 hr to Port Dover. We have many quiet roads, flat and great for cycling. Two car racing facilities are near by. Ruthven is a National Historical Park, with a Mansion for touring and grounds to hike. Many wedding are held at the Coach House on the grounds. My property is on a old quite street. Koi pond, decks, gardens, to relax.
