Halvat Hotel is located in the centre of Sarajevo, 100 metres from Baščaršija, Sarajevo’s oldest bazaar. It offers individually furnished rooms with air conditioning and free access to Wi-Fi. Welcome to your home away from home ! :)) Our staff members speak English and Italian languages, sing in choir, play football....we will tell you story about Sarajevo while serving you, maybe, best breakfast in Sarajevo :) ....Halvat staff :)

...Halvat home was established 1998, but our ,hotel business' story started few years before... while Sarajevo was under the siege '92-'95, Valida&Mumo opened their first hotel - legendary Meridian - place where the most famous journalists worked!

Halvat home is situated just 100m from central/main square Sebilj - water fountain, in Bascarsija. 200m from Gazi Husrev Bey's mosque, 150 m from Old Orthodox church in Bascarsija and 500m from Old synagogue and Roman Catholic cathedral. 250 m from Museum of city of Sarajevo as well as from Svrzo's house - traditional Muslim family mid class house from XVIII century. Assassination corner is 400 m far from Halvat home - so in a very historical place - and I, as a certified tourist guide for Sarajevo and surroundings, am ready to share my knowledge and experience with you, dear Guests!
