Hi I'm Jill, After travelling around the world for over 20 years and living in London, Canada and the East and West Coast of Australia for an exteded amount of time, or back packing or skiing through The States, Japan, Europe and the Middle East, I finally needed somewhere to settle down again. After living in so many great places, I needed somewhere that was going to keep me inspired. After stumbling on Semaphore, I was held here by all of its festivals, cafes, beautiful beaches, outdoor activities, progressive culture, cool sea breeze, friendly community and close proximity to Adelaide. After travelling so much, I know what I am looking for in accommodation. I like to be close to amenities and outdoor activities. I need somewhere to cook and do my laundry, a really comfortable bed, privacy and space to relax, and room to include my family and friends. Not to mention a hot tub for winter and a plunge pool for summer! I hope you fall in love with Semaphore as quickly as I did. I'm always learning new things about the Semaphore area and Adelaide. We are less than a 5 minute walk to a safe family beach, restaurants, bars, cafe's, cinema, supermarkets, gift shops, kids playgrounds and semaphore's seasonal festivals. Semaphore Road was voted the People's Choice Award for best main Street in South Australia for 2014. Cap off your day with a BBQ under the peaceful patio or relax in the four meter long swim spa. Heated year round, the swim spa temperature is at your discretion. Set it to 38 degrees for warmth during cold winter nights or to 28 degrees, a temperature perfect for your summer swim session. If the kids aren’t in the swim spa, then the toys will keep them occupied for hours.

For the more adventurer's why not walk down to Semaphore South and watch parachuters landing (flights leave from Parafield). Or bring your Windsurfer, SUP board or kayak and check out Semaphore Beach, West Lakes and Garden Island Dolphin Sanctuary from another angle! Take a tour of Historical Fort Glanville. Top off the day with a refreshing sundowner and affordable meal on the balcony of the Semaphore Surf Life Saving Club, or quick hit of tennis at Point Malcolm Reserve. Why not check out Port Adelaide which is a 30 minute stroll or 5 minute by car, with it's beautiful architecture, funky cafes and inviting beer gardens. There is plenty to do for the young at heart with the South Australian Maritime Museum, National Railway Museum, South Australian Aviation Museum and Clipper Ship. Why not spend a day out at sea on a Tall Ship, or just a few hours on the dolphin explorer, or scare yourself on a Ghost Tour. Enjoy the convenience of only been a few minutes walk to a bus or train (25 minutes into Adelaide).
