The location is unbeatable—just a two-minute walk to Patong Beach, markets, great restaurants, and more. The hostel itself is sparkling clean and smells wonderful, as it’s cleaned daily with great care. It’s clear the hosts take a lot of pride in keeping the place welcoming and comfortable for guests. I’m so grateful for such a wonderful experience and wish them both lots of success and happiness. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting the area!

Bambus Restaurant, Bar & Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Patong Beach. The property is around 700 metres from Jungceylon Shopping Center, 700 metres from Patong Boxing Stadium and 2.2 km from Phuket Simon Cabaret. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Patong Beach is less than 1 km away. Staff were nice, dorms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Each bed has it’s own lamp, charging unit and a cushion that separates the bed from rest of the room. The hostel is a 15 min walk to the beach. Although the neighborhood is very touristic, i wasn’t bothered by noise even at once. I booked for 2 nights but extended my stay by one more night. I had concerns about staying in a hostel before i arrived, but bambus hostel turned out to be really comfortable. Thanks to Martin and the staff!

The rooms will provide guests with a fridge. The Hotel is in a very good location next to Malin Plaxa and the beach . I love the big windows and lovely terrace. Room is very spacious and clean . I was shock to find a sofa inside the room which makes me so happy as I work at night. Noise is bearable considering that this is in the center. Staffs are exceptionally kind and helpful specially the guys at reception.

Fantastic facilities including pool table, Tv, gaming console, beanbags etc. breakfast was lovely and nice common area. Rooms were very well air conditioned and location was within walking distance of 7/11 and some restaurants but we got taxis for cheap to restaurants closer to the beach.

LOVE this cute little homestay with colourful cabin style rooms and beautiful gardens. The most friendly welcoming host family, cosy comfortable rooms with everything you need including a full size fridge, microwave, bowls, cutlery etc. We left some unfinished noodles in a bowl while we went out and the generous host even cleaned it up for us! Location is great, on a more quiet street with plenty of bars and food nearby, plus a short walk to bang tao beach or few mins in a tuk tuk over to Surin beach.

The host, a 60-year-old lady, doesn’t look her age at all—she is incredibly friendly, supportive, and always ready to help. She assisted me in booking a city tour and a Phi Phi Island tour, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hostel offers free bananas, bread, coffee, fresh water bottles, and a few other essentials available 24/7. The washrooms and rooms are super clean, ensuring a pleasant stay. Plus, the location is perfect—just a 10-minute walk to Patong Beach and Bangla Road. I would love to stay here again on my next trip!
