This would have to be one of the best backpackers we've stayed in! Great location, comfy bed and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved the restaurant and ate there twice!! Ghe place had a really good vibe and was a mixture of young backpackers and locals having a drink or meal.

Great location, great facilities safe and secure. Generous size rooms with everything you can think of available. Short 3 minute walk to the beach, shops restaurants, petrol station everything is right on the doorstep. The owner Neville is a lovely host as well. Would highly recommend the Sands and we will definitely be back :)

The patio is very nice. Everything you need as a backpacker is provided. I liked the vibe of the hostel. I didn't go to the pub.
