A perfect, calm getaway from the city with still plenty of things to do. Great restaurants, thrifting, karaoke, parks, and Japanese vibes. Also Nakano is a 20 min walk away and they have a mall with Uniqlo and everything else you’d need. It’s easy to meet other people and make friends! Women-only was awesome and made me feel really safe. I can’t wait to go back and spend my entire Japan trip here. I shouldn’t have bothered with any other hotels. Nothing compares to Grapehouse Koenji!

Super value for money for the location and facilites (it has hairdryer, laundry machine, toaster, microwave, fridge, cooking equipments, etc). Luggage storage in each floor is spacious enough. I had 2 large suitcases and 1 cabin suitcase during this trip and it fit just fine. The place was clean too and the staffs were friendly.

The Guest House was very clean There is a large common area for chilling and having your meals Excellent cooking facilities, 2 kitchens and all cooking utensils, dishes and pots and pans. The atmosphere at the Guest House was relaxing and worry free. The guests were mindful of privacy and House rules. I had no worries about my personal belongings. The Guest House is in the center of Asakusa. Asakusa is perhaps the most interesting place in Tokyo. The Guest House is minutes away from Senso-ji temple and numerous restaurants and bars and all kinds of interesting shopping experiences.
