The house was very spacious and clean (also the room and the Japanese style bathroom.) There were facilities which were necessary for my stay (washing machine, fridge, kitchen, good wifi.) The host was very friendly and helpful. :) I biked around different places in Kamijimacho and all the people I met on the way were very friendly and helpful. A quiet and beautiful place.

Big and comfortable rooms/beds, bathrooms, very modern, great location with a small beach and FamilyMart store just over the road. Staff were super nice and professional. A wonderful restaurant with very tasty meal for dinner. I stay for 2 nights and would have stayed longer but needed to cycle on to return my bike.

They could both speak really good English, and were very nice to talk to. I think you can easily realize that the hostel has a bit of a unique style: simple, nothing fancy but really cozy. Great initiative to offer one free drink per night at the bar by the front desk. It creates a cool atmosphere also with other guests. Also, they offer ear-buds, ear-plugs, toothbrush. I was also happy to find shaving gel. I would have easily spent more than one night and I would recommend everyone to stay at Roku! Nice location, walking distance to the main attractions, and close to JR train station and tram stop.

Tottori Airport is 21 km away. The place is a beautiful kept traditional Japanese wooden house. I loved the house and the location but the best part of the experience were the host family. I felt like I was visiting my family, I got to experience very traditional meals and great company. I hope to visit again!

Hostel Mallika features free WiFi throughout the property. very close to the Hiroshima peace park and also the boat to Miyajima. stayed in the 4 bed room. the pull out beds were better than they looked in the picture.
