Well, the location is remote. This should come as no surprise. But authentic and pretty. The hostal itself is unassuming and basic. Country living, in the outskirts of civilization is part of the attraction in coming here. The room was small. Cramped even, but the common-rooms made up for it. We were fortunate to experience a 'hillbilly' town get-together - locals with music, beer and dance. Happens a couple of times a year; phone the town grocer for up-dates. Playground nearby. Prepare your own food here. The well-stocked grocer is nearby. Fridge, etc in room. Clean.

Our double room was very spacious. The Danhostel is located in a community sports/exercise facilities and we had access to the facility. There was a pool table and Foosball table. They had an indoor bike parking room. The breakfast was delicious and gluten-free bread was available when requested in advance.

Este albergue está localizado no Lago Skanderborg, a apenas 2 km do centro de Skanderborg. O lugar é muito bonito, as camas são confortáveis, o hotel fica dentro da floresta e a beira de um lago lindo com cisnes e patos selvagens, A arquitetura do hotel lembra um cenário de acampamento de filme. Passei uma noite maravilhosa lá, mas como chegamos muito tarde na noite anterior, não acordamos a tempo do café da manhã que termina às 9:00, fiquei com vontade de experimentar pois geralmente os cafés da manhã da rede DanHostel são muito bons. Ficaria lá novamente com certeza!

Este albergue está localizado ao lado do Centro Esportivo Herning, a apenas 5 minutos de carro do centro de Herning. Was very clean and nice. Breakfast was not very rich but for such small price was perfect.

The youth hostel was excellent. It was well run and exceptionally clean. Ideal location with a 15 minute walk to the centre and less than 10 to the harbour. Room was a great size for the 3 of us. Plenty of space for parking. Staff were great and really helpful. Very good kitchen facilities. Breakfast was very good. Stylish decor. Had washing facilities; board games; basketball court and table tennis table. Space outside for football and we set up our badminton net. Would definitely recommend. All youth hostels should be like this....
