Located around 13 km from Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary, the hostel is also 29 km away from Nauyaca Waterfalls. Free WiFi and a shared kitchen are available. The place is easy to reach since it's near a bigger road. The dorms have AC and the WiFi seemed stable (14Mbps down). Staff is friendly and the whole building is super awesome. The "upper deck" is basically a big lounge where you can hang out or play a game. When I arrived I wished I had booked more nights. The bed and little pods were comfortable. Even though I booked as one person I got a 2 person bed. The kitchen has everything you need and the supermarket is across the road. The rooms are kept clean and the bed/pod has a recess into the wall where to light and power socket are. The art on the walls and the little signs really brings it all together. If you are looking to stay in Uvita I highly recommend.

All units will provide guests with a fridge. Cafecito Surf feels like home. The place is cozy and only a few minutes away from the beach. They offer really nice coffee, and I even had the time to learn how to make "Gallo Pinto" a traditional dish. I spent 4 nights at Cafecito and took 1 surf lesson, this was my second time surfing. Leni gave me the confidence I needed not to freak out. Next time I'll make sure I stay longer to keep learning. Surfing in Santa Teresa is an experience everyone should try at least once.

The location was fairly quiet as there wasn't much road traffic going by. There was AC and the shower had hot water, which my wife loved. The kitchen was an ample size and had everything we needed; even Tupperware to keep our extra food so we didn't leave it in the pans. The rooms didn't feel cramped and had shelf space to put our things. The beds we're comfy and the towels were soft. The covered common area outside the kitchen was a great place to eat and for my wife to work. We would stay here again.

Comfy beds, everything you need, waking up with birds in the middle of the garden. Heyner’s family is so nice, his wife is cooking a great breakfast and dinner. One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was a 10 from the incredibly comfortable beds to the very cool rooms. We stayed in the mobile home and it is very spacious with loads of storage and a nice seating area and toilet. Kitchen was big open air and fairly well equipped. Nice social area. Right on a great beach and walking distance to most cafes. The best staff of any property I’ve ever stayed in. Mica and all the other reception staff sorted out any type of inquiry or problem the fastest I’ve seen.
Beautiful room, but we paid extra for that. Good facilities and helpful staff. The hostel is in a great location.
ICO Living is a tasteful, small Hostel, that creates a very homey and safe atmosphere. The Hostel is cleaned everyday and at the most perfect location in Santa Teresa (very close to the beach and everything you might need). Traveling by myself, my stay at ICO Living was especially impacted by the wonderful people that work there. Being welcomed and included with open arms and care made my stay very memorable and if you plan on going to Santa Teresa, I can wholeheartedly recommend ICO Living. 🧡
Apparently we got an upgrade on the room so I'd be worried about what the others looked like. The room was clean but very basic. The furniture was cheap, wardrobe were plastic etc and we had to change room as the bed was broken. If you are traveling on a budget I'd imagine this place is better than a hostel but I wish we had paid more and stayed else where as I was expecting better from what the other reviews had said.
Marco was very nice and helpful. The beds are amazing (double sized bunk beds) and were very clean. Very chill but still social vibe. Across from Selina North and close to the best surf beach of Santa Teresa. I visited when it was very new so a few things missed but I think these things will soon come! Till now one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had so far!!
OMG it’s the best hostel I’ve been after years of traveling solo… chill vibes, nice staffs, great location and great amenities! The fact that it’s surrounded by nature makes it even more interesting!
