The owner is very friendly, thoughtful, and caring. In my case he even went out of his way (since I had two large suitecases, a backpack, and a couple shopping bags from in between moves locally) to store my stuff and bump me up to an open double bed with two lockers. The two lockers also helped me store my quiet juicer so I could juice quietly in the kithen while others were asleep in the next room. The volunteers and guests all seemed happy with the accomodations, and everyone got along well, partly due to the environment created by our host. Thank you so much, Sander.

Guests at the hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Dos Brazos, like hiking. I came as a guest and decided to stay as a volunteer. I sincerely enjoyed my time soaking in the nature and wildlife. There is so much hiking you can do, I recommend staying at least a few nights to enjoy it thoroughly. A special thanks to Ron the owner for his kindness and the other volunteers and guests for a beautiful experience. I look forward to coming again!

Property was very easy to find and centrally located. Facilities were great, room was very comfortable with great AC. Overall a very cool place we would definitely stay again

The units in the hostel are fitted with a coffee machine. Complete with a shared bathroom, the rooms at The Cafecito Surfhouse - Santa Teresa are fitted with air conditioning, and certain rooms are fitted with a seating area. All units will provide guests with a fridge. The house is very clean and they thought about every detail. Nothing was missing. I really enjoyed my stay and would always come back. The location so close to the center and beach make it the perfect place to stay.

Perfect stay! Great location in the middle of nature. Nothing fancy, just connection to Costa Rica beautiful nature ! Comfy beds, everything you need, waking up with birds in the middle of the garden. Heyner’s family is so nice, his wife is cooking a great breakfast and dinner. They booked the mangrove trip which was amazing and we had horseback riding with Heyner. It was a great experience . We will definitely come back!!

Monteverde Ecological Sanctuary is an 8-minute walk from Hostel Cattleya - Monteverde, Costa. The nearest airport is Tambor Airport, 67 km from the property. Comfortable, spacious room within walking distance of the main town. The kitchen faciltiies are good (which is very handy in Costa Rica because the cost of eating out is quite expensive) Jonathan on the front desk was awesome, and helped us to book onto all the tours we were interested in doing. We did the Zip Line across the cloud forest and went to a sloth sanctuary. For the price was paid to stay here, and all the brilliant things you can do in Monteverde, this was a steal!

The place is awesome, the rooms are wooden, really comfortable with enough space among the beds. Beautiful view to the jungle, the staff are really helpful with whatever information you need. I totally recommend this place!
