Very friendly family that runs the hotel/hostel. Because it was still low season we got a free upgrade to a better room which is always a nice surprise. The room was very comfortable and the location is fantastic. There is also a lovely little common area where you can watch TV and enjoy a free selection of teas.

At the hostel, all rooms have a desk. With a shared bathroom fitted with a shower, rooms at Allegro Alpin Lodge also have free WiFi, while some rooms also offer a lake view. All guest rooms feature a wardrobe. Friendly! Great location surrounded by fields! Easy walk to town!

Located in Engelberg, 500 metres from the Titlis Rotair Cable Car, Engelberg Youth Hostel features a buffet restaurant and a summer terrace. A ski school and the European Walking Tours Office are reachable within a 2-minute walk. The staff was very nice and available. Ski resort is not too far (10 mins by foot). Proper youth hostel!

All rooms have a balcony overlooking the mountains, and free WiFi is available. The room that was given was a Bigger room than the expected one. It was more spacious and comfortable. Me and my friends enjoyed the stay. The Location is near to the train station. The Breakfast was Excellent. Having stayed here before in 2017, I preferred to stay again. Special meal was cooked in 2017 on my Son's Birthday and on my request it was cooked again this time (It happened I was in Engelberg on same dates again)
