Situado muito próximo às margens do Rio Reno, este albergue design fica ao lado do antigo portão da cidade de St. Alban. Staff are friendly and the hostel is clean and family friendly. Breakfast was great. Location is very good near to all the christmas markets that we want to visit.

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. This might be one of the best hostel experiences I have ever had.I have been traveling for few years now and have stayed in a lot of hostels around the world and this hostel has really impressed me.The capsule where I slept in was comfortable,warm and offered much more privacy than a normal bunk bed. The hostel breakfest was really good too and the whole place was generally very clean and welll maintained.Plus the hostel is super close to the main train station and public transportation. I would stay here again for sure next I am visiting Basel. Cheers Jura

O Basel Backpack está alojado em uma fábrica histórica renovada, a apenas 10 minutos da principal estação ferroviária da Basiléia. Cama confortável, banheiro com ducha bem quente, uma delícia para os dias frios chegar e se esquentar, calefação do quarto funciona super, roupa de cama me parecia limpa, bem organizado os quartos, a cozinha eu não utilizei mas parecia ser completa, os banheiros compartilhados homem/mulher deixava a desejar na limpeza mas acredito que a maior parte da "sujeira" seja culpa dos próprios hóspedes, o banheiro com duchas era bem organizado e limpo na medida do possível, espaço adequado e com bancos pra colocar as coisas pra tomar banho. Para chegar de a pé da estação de trem até o hostel é bem rápido, umas 3 quadras, e também tem o trem que passa na rua do hostel.

The single room I booked was comfortable and fine for 1 person. The bed was comfortable. The shared shower & toilet were spotless. Towels provided every day if needing a replacement. The weather was very hot so big fans were provided if wanted. Loved the kitchen/ lounge area too. Very central. Just at the end of the Main Street. WiFi worked perfectly. Would definitely stay again!

Basel-Stadt Gundeldingen Zimmer 402, WC in the hallway, outside the room fica em Basileia a 2,4 km de Museu Judaico da Suíça e a 2,6 km de Museu Schaulager. I had a few hour connection in Basel. I thought since it is so cheap I am going into a scam, but it was very decent comfortable and worth the price.

Such a nice place and surroundings. Beautiful house with a big garden right next to the river. In the morning fresh breakfast with homemade jam and bread. I would recommend this place to everyone!!

The staff are flexible, understandable, so nice and friendly. The lady even checked me in earlier before their opening hours, because I wasn't able to come for check-in during the opening hours. Basel-Stadt Gundeldingen Zimmer 404, fica em Basileia a 2,8 km de Pfalz Basel e a 1,7 km de Museu da Arquitetura. Wonderful! I love that it has a kitchen, refrigerator, stove just like at home.
