Our stay at India House Hostel New Orleans was excellent. Check-in was easy, staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable, location was quite at night right in nice part of New Orleans

Loved how clean this hostel was! Also the fact that noise from the common area doesn't reach the rooms. There's a quieter hallway with tables where I got a little bit of work done as well. Super central, good value for money, would come again!

I don't usually write reviews but staying at this place made the difference in my trip. I was on my own and the size and kind of the hostel made it possible for me - and I'm on the shy side - to meet a lot of new and interesting people I could spend time with while exploring the city. The hostel and above all the bathroom are clean and everything went smoothly. Location is great, the neighborhood is cool and close to the center and the lovely lower garden district.

Great location, lots of ways to get into downtown. The facilities are very good and the staff were exceptional. Overall the communication and check-in process was very easy.
