We had the best experience in Casa Yoly, the most friendly welcome we have ever received! Luis Miguel really eager to help with anything we needed. We not only found a great accomodation, but a good friend as well. The hostel itself is really nice and clean, with books to borrow, comfy hammocks and a big common kitchen. Breakfast is delicious, coffee is great.

Our stay here was great, one of the best places we've stated during our travels. The staff are so lovely, are incredibly considerate and make the place feel like your home. They are brand new so don't have many reviews but we highly recommend this place for a short or long stay.

Lovely hostel! We came back because it was very good en we liked staying in Granada instead of Managua for our flight back. The Hostel organize trips, is social (free 3 social drinks!) and loved the quiet hours between 23.00 and 06.00. Comfortable beds in the private rooms. Don’t know how the dorms are.

This property is within walking distance to San Juan de Oriente and Catarina where there is much to see and do if you are a creative traveller or on a walking holiday that passes nearby. This family of artists are simply wonderful; they went out of their way to make my stay as a solo traveller more enjoyable, introducing me to the fruits i brought in the local town and even showing me some ancient stone carvings in their local woodland. The accommodation offers excellent value for money and i enjoyed a wonderful ceramics lesson with a master ceramicist. Here you can enjoy an authentic Nicaraguan experience in terms of the surrounding environment whilst feeling safe, and knowing your hosts are trying to improve their local environment. Fall asleep listening to sounds of the forest and wake up to watch monkeys in the trees.

This is a quiet sanctuary in the middle of a busy neighborhood near the bus station. I think it should be rated higher. Lots of room to relax and chat with other travelers. The shared kitchen is great. We read other reviews which said the rooms are hot if you don't have AC, so we paid the $10 extra for AC, and I do recommend this. Our room had 2 beds, and one was more comfortable than the other. The pillows were good. Lots of food options in the area. A really great area. Breakfast was yummy!

All hostels in Granada

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Very satisfied with this hostel as a budget choice. A very good location in the center. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful for anything I needed. Hostel is cleaned everyday and my room and bathroom were cleaned regularly. Nice pool to cool off in the Granada heat. A good choice of places to relax outside the room. Good free coffee every morning. Wifi worked well save when Grananda suffered an occasional short power outage.

The hostel has everything a backpacker needs and more - hair straighteners! Wow! They go the extra mile to provide all. Good kitchen, plenty of activities, great advice on tours and travel (and cheapest methods). The courtyards are very pleasant too.
