Lovely family is running the hostel. The hostel has a big garden with nice hammocks. The breakfast is cheap (500 lkr) and really good! You eat it in the garden which is a fun and nice way to meet the other travelers. The host can arrange trips for you which are a good price. Like a tuktuk to the cave temple and Sigriya rock afterwards. Met fun people in this place and played Singalese games with the children. Absolutely loved the stay!

We are staying in a wonderful treehouse in Dambulla, a unique place with all the comforts, including European plug adapters and hot water. The hosts are incredibly kind and attentive, even lending us bicycles to explore the town and visit the Golden Temple. We slept wonderfully in this magical setting, which has become one of the most memorable moments of our trip.

The spacious accommodations were a breath of fresh air, and the complimentary breakfast and dinner buffet were a delightful bonus. Honestly, the value for money here is unbeatable! On our first day, we ventured out to Pidurangala to catch the sunset, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The next day, we explored the stunning Sigiriya rock fortress, which was a highlight of our trip. In the evening, we enjoyed a charming bullock cart village safari that gave us a taste of local life. The third day was just as memorable, with a well-organized safari to Minneriya National Park to watch the elephants. It was such a relaxing day, surrounded by nature and wildlife. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was a bit slow at times, but honestly, it was nice to disconnect and enjoy the experience fully. Overall, I had an amazing stay and will definitely be coming back! If you're looking for a great place to stay with wonderful activities, this hostel is the perfect choice

Shan is a perfect host! We took a beautiful walk at sunset and his mother has cooked us an amazing breakfast! If you pass by Sigiriya you absolutely have to stop here ;)

I had an amazing experience at Sigiri Serenity Hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home with their warm hospitality and helpful local tips. The common areas are great for relaxing or meeting fellow travelers, and the home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious — some of the best food I had in Sri Lanka! This place was just awesome! Clean bedroom and bathroom, peaceful and quiet surrounded by nature, cute dogs who are well-treated, yummy breakfast. Hammock was a big win. As a solo female traveller, Diwa made me feel safe and welcome, and helped me to plan my itinerary. He also took me on a tour which was very informative. Highly recommend.
