We are staying in a wonderful treehouse in Dambulla, a unique place with all the comforts, including European plug adapters and hot water. The hosts are incredibly kind and attentive, even lending us bicycles to explore the town and visit the Golden Temple. We slept wonderfully in this magical setting, which has become one of the most memorable moments of our trip.

The breakfast and dinner were amazing, always different and cooked by the owner Costa, also a chef. Costa took us to a safari where we saw 70+ elephants, took me to Pidurangula for the sunrise and gave explainations about everything. Him and his wife are lovely and the place is quiet in the middle of the jungle. You might even see elephants there!

Everything was perfect! It was such a wonderful place to start our trip. The food was absolutely delicious, and the rooms were super comfortable. The bar was such a cozy and fun spot to hang out, and the staff were incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. The cooking class is also an absolute must-do and highly recommended. I had an amazing experience at Sigiri Serenity Hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home with their warm hospitality and helpful local tips.
