Very good hostel - modern and super comfy. Excellent location, very close to everything important. There is everything you need - lockers, kitchen, free cosmetics kit, washing machine. And shop with Kaspi point at the bottom floor of the building.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable Stay at Koksay Hotel – Great Value We had a very pleasant stay at Koksay Hotel in Almaty. The hotel is located a bit outside the busy city center, which makes it peaceful and quiet — perfect for relaxing after a long day. Even though it’s not in the middle of the city, getting around is very easy with Yandex taxi, which is fast and affordable in Almaty. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the essentials we needed for a good stay. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was spotless, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Everything was well-maintained, showing the hotel’s commitment to quality and guest comfort. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and cared for during our time here. While the hotel does not serve breakfast, there are small shops and cafes nearby, and with Yandex rides being so convenient, finding great food in the city was never a problem. Overall, Koksay Hotel offers great value for money — clean rooms, friendly service, and a peaceful location with easy transport access. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return when visiting Almaty again.

Although I only stayed at this hotel for one day, it felt like home. The main reason was that the front desk staff was extremely nice. They not only helped me book a train ticket but also were very friendly, making me feel very relaxed. The value for money of this hotel is acceptable.

✓ helpful & polite staff, in particular Akmaral, the receptionist, and the resto (which İ also liked much) waiter Alimzhan; ✓ location by the river & Kok-Tobe, close to Dostyk Plaza & a lot of cafes; ✓ the overview design of the hostel & zoning; ✓ a super private capsule itself. It's what I personally needed: complete blackout (no windows, no TV), a very comfy mattressr, pillow & clean bed and towel sets, optional bedside lamps, USB - slots, sockets & high velocity WiFi. The tiny plant was so nice! ✓ perfect cleanliness & nice aroma in each zone; ✓ an available kitchen & two menus to choose from for breakfast (for the hostel & the hotel); ✓ a leisure zone with the collection of books, table games & a plasma TV + plaids; ✓ new furniture & facilities everywhere, incl.bathrooms, which are female/male separated (crucial for me, personally); ✓ quietness, no smoking & order; ✓ riverside promenade opportunity.
