What a lovely and peaceful place! Everything is so beautifully designed and decorated, staff is amazing. I immediately felt home. Everybody was awesome, the staff give good restaurant recommandation, organise activities, boat tours, Gavin at the reception gave me a little heads up via booking before I arrived for the boat company I had to take to reach Mpai bay without extra costs (buva sea or gtvc). The place is clean, gorgeous and everybody is so helpful and great. I loved my stay there so much I extended 4 more nights. It's also a good place to work if you have some work to be done, it's very chill and quiet during the day.

Quiet and serene atmosphere. Friendly, warm staff! Good food and waking up by the sounds of birds! The owners is also a top bloke. The beds and the little houses we were sleeping in were also really comfortable.

Lovesick Hostel is a wonderful place! Run by Lauren and Hans, a young English couple, it has a relaxed, homey feel that makes it easy to meet people. The hostel is simple and no-frills, but much more sociable than the big chain hostels and the spacious private rooms are great value. You can’t beat the beachfront location, the hostel is located on the edge of town but only a short 5min walk away from pretty much everything. As it’s only recently opened, the owners and volunteers are still making a few improvements, but it didn’t take away from the experience. Can’t wait to see how it develops—would definitely recommend!

I was satisfied with my stay in this place. Considering the offer on the islands, you can’t expect luxury. The room was basic but spacious with a private bathroom and clean towels. The common area was lovely, very relaxing and the staff, Marta and Volkan, were real sweethearts, making sure you feel welcome and doing it in a very natural way. It’s a place were you’ll meet new people and were you’ll be very close to a beautiful beach.
