Hostels in Kanazawa

The place's very clean and tidy. The staff is nice and super helpful. Recommend to the tourists. ;) The staff has arranged the halloween party with us. Thank you so much for the efforts.

The location was perfect, just few minutes from the station. The host was super kind!

Perfect location, just 3 mins from JR station on foot, well English speaking staff, near local supermarket and bicycle rental center, comfortable bed, and sight view of the Tsuzumi-mon Gate

The place looked as if brand new and was pretty clean, the toilets, showers etc. The capsule style beds were comfortable enough, I got one with a mini-window so sunlight to wake me up. I particularly liked the common room, a good space to meet fellow travellers.

Everything! Keep in mind, this is a countryside Guesthouse, so the location is not easily accessible by train or bus. You can drive to Johana Translation and take a long walk or taxi but a car is probably a must. Ignoring that, this accommodation was amazing. It's an old style Japanese Guesthouse renovated to be extremely comfortable even for people that don't like older houses. It is almost completely renovated and the host really took a lot of effort to decorate the rooms. There is a great kitchen and living room options available. The dorm beds on the third floor are big compared to other hostels but the stairs a little steep and narrow. The first floor is offers bigger rooms for people and an area for children to play (as of October 2023). Outside the house is space for at leat 5-6 cars for parking. By foot you can go to a park, an incredible child playground and a lake. There are probably only one or two options for outside dining by foot, but with car shops, laundry, restaurants are available within 10 minutes.
