This is a unique place, hand-built by the owners with natural materials and beautiful techniques. The location is absolutely stunning in midst of nature. The perfect place to go on hiking explorations to small villages, see Barichara and relax. The staff is very friendly and super helpful with any requests! Flo also guided us in re-planning our journey through Colombia sharing his experience. Plus the food is delicious and all of it home made.

This hostel is situation in the heart of Barichara, walking distance to everything in the quaint, beautiful town. The room exceeded our expectations as did the staff. Really enjoyed staying with the trip monkey hostel chain and would highly recommend.

It's like a boutique hotel rather than a hostel. Tastefully decorated to delight the eye as well as to invite guests to truly enjoy and relax in this special place, a gorgeous view of a spread of mountains from the front porch, also a starting point for short and longer walks into woods, fields and nearby neighbouring mountain village/s. Plenty of attention to details to make anyone's stay just wonderful (eg the homemade bread is the best I've had in South America and the coffee too!) super clean: bed, bathroom, hosts super super helpful and friendly. Can't ask for more, really! I am definitely taking time off from travel to go back and chill !

Nice and quiet place to stay for a couple of days. Friendly staff. You can book all activities through the hostel add to the bill and pay by card at the end. Good value for money. Plenty of places around for lunch or dinner

lovely little place organising great activities with local experts and booking taxis. the hostel organises a game of tejo (local game) every tuesday, would recommend highly, free of charge & involving gunpowder… shaun - the owner made us all feel very welcomed and involved, even inviting us to football with his local mates. the hot tub is HOT, the water pressure is exceptional & the showers have hot water!! the scenes
