I love the breakfast and big smiles from friendly wirkers like Catelyne. What made me forever grateful, however, is the kind care from Chef Umberto. I got sick Wednesday morning with some sort of stomach bugs. A pharmacist suggested me to eat fresh veggie soup. I bought some fresh veggies, thinking to make some soup using the macrowave avilable for guests. Then after Chef Umberto learned about my situation, he made the soup for me Wednesday which were my dinner on Wednesday and breakfast on Thursday. Then he mad a huge batch of soup for me again on Thursday evening. Even more, he packed the extra soup in two sealed bags with proper labels for my Friday meals because he would be off work on Friday! This level of care and generosity is something I’ll never forget. Thank you, Umberto, for not only cooking but for genuinely looking after guests. Your kindness made a huge difference in my stay, and I’m deeply grateful!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
