The place was beautiful and cozy, the room of 4 was really nice and some people might not like the beds but I LOVE them, they’re like futons and I slept so well. The views from the dining room are stunning and at night you walk either side and have amazing views of the mountains and the houses with their lights on. The staff really helpful and really nice too. I’m only sad I couldn’t stay for a lot longer. Coming back.

Breakfast was excellent with variety of bread, spreads and cold cuts, cereals, hot drinks. The fact that I could head out to the trails before everyone came on the first cablecar, and that you have the whole place to yourself literally after the last cablecar gone down. One of the male staff who speaks better English was kind enough to bring me around to explain about the place, codes, rules in general., despite the busy crowds in the restaurant, appreciated that (hope he enjoys his return to Austria!) The female staff are also friendly during dinner and although there was a confusion during checkout if I should pay on the spot or not, better that they sort it out. Shower is great, I had great company, sharing about their photography. Great place to stargaze at night, especially for someone from the tropics with light pollution.

The Eiger Lodge Easy is located at the foot of the Eiger North Face, between the Grindelwald-Grund Train Station and the Termina - Eiger Express. Free WiFi is available in the common areas.

Quite everything: from the spacious bedrooms to the commodious kitchen; everything you need is here. The hostel is just a 15-minute walk (or 5 min taxi) from the train station wengen with amazing views: you get to see a lot in the space of 15 minutes. Everything is clean, the host is very friendly, the place is quiet and very cost effective for all the services that it gives. There is a piano, baby foot and table tennis. Many benches outside too. You can even make a bonfire near the hostel. You won't be dissapointed :)

We enjoyed our stay at an incredibly accommodating hostel, complete with a picturesque garden and a pond graced by sizable fish. The highlight was the option to barbecue, an opportunity we naturally seized. We opted for a room with a shared bathroom, which pleasantly surprised us with its smart system. This intuitive system allowed us to control the lights and even set up music using an iPad, enhancing our convenience. The beds provided exceptional comfort, and the thoughtfully equipped kitchen elevated our experience. Additionally, the laundry facilities, available for a mere 8 CHF, were a practical bonus. Walter, the epitome of a welcoming and easygoing host, extended an immediate sense of belonging. We're sincerely appreciative of the warm hospitality and undoubtedly look forward to returning in the future.
