Nicola and Victoria are a lovely couple who made me feel truly at home during my 5-day stay. Hostel Aral was in the perfect location, a 5 minute walk from the bus terminal and 30 minutes from the Berat castle. Ervis was such an amazing host, he was very accommodating and helped me with my bus ticket when I was leaving to Saranda. The room was really clean and I loved how the bathroom mirror had a ring light!

Lots of fun and laughs! Multi-generation guests, friendly and engaging volunteers, very pleasant and helpful owner Miri, delicious free breakfasts, indoor and outdoor seating, fabulous view from third floor private room balcony, and finally, hostel location close to everything….all made for a great experience!

Berat Backpackers is the perfect hostel and don't look farther where to stay in Berat. Comfy beds, great ambiance with nice breakfast provided in the cost of the room. Great outdoor area to hang out and meet people. Close to the city's promenade. Honestly 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!
