Big room, good mattress and updated bathroom. Very friendly and helpful family owners. Good breakfast which was cooked with care. I had a motorbike but even so I preferred to walk into the market area and main part of town. It is a very pedestrian-friendly town, and a very clean and friendly place too. Pia homestay is deservedly very popular and so I would recommend that you book well in advance.

The room was super comfy, very clean, and the self-check-in was smooth and just made sense, no hassle at all. The location is in a good area, and for the price (much cheaper than what we found on booking websites). Communication was super fast and easy through WhatsApp, which made everything so convenient. They also offer a bunch of handy services like laundry and transportation. We asked if they could arrange a limousine van for two people to Hanoi, with pickup from the homestay, and they organized everything quickly. We specifically wanted to pay in cash instead of booking online, and they made that possible without any issue. All in all, a very comfortable and well-organized place to stay. We'd definitely recommend!
