Sora was an excellent host and communicated fluently in English. She replies quickly to any request by WhatsApp or phone. She also gives very good recommendations about where to go. The breakfast options include a variety of Vietnamese and Western dishes. Despite me being a pescatarian, I was able to enjoy many different breakfast options that were both delicious and nutritious. They have bycicles and motorbikes for rent. Cleanliness was above the average in this area. There are many places to eat lunch and dinner less than 5 minutes away walking from the homestay.

The family that runs this place is so friendly and warm! Vi helped me plan my (skeptically long) stay so that I can enjoy Chau Doc's charm and the parents were always generous, gentle and kind. The place itself is central, very close to the riverside and ferry boat stop, and Vi helped me arrange the free shuttle to the coach station. The room was clean, with fan and AC and had a lot of toiletries, a clean large bathroom and two small desks. Internet worked fine. It's a place designed to make the guests feel at home, with good attention to detail. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

The property was conveniently located just a quick walk from the floating market dock. We loved the location, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. It was also very clean. The host was very knowledgeable about tourist attractions.

We had a balcony from which you can't see the river, because unfortunately there are buildings in the way, but it was pleasant to sit outside. The wifi is very good, I was able to do my work with it. What we also noticed was that all light switches in the room were marked with stickers in English. That was great, so we knew exactly which switch was intended for what. The mattress is hard, which we like very much and the nights were, except for a very noisy arrival, very quiet. We found the owner particularly wonderful. Although she hardly spoke English, we were able to arrange our onward transport with her with the help of the translator app. In addition, an English-speaking friend of hers came to help, who gave us a piece of paper with instructions for the bus drivers. The two ladies were so helpful and we are very grateful for that.

HOMESTAY VILLA está ubicado en Chau Doc, cuenta con vista al lago, WiFi gratis y estacionamiento privado de cortesía. We rented a whole villa which was supposed to have 3 bedrooms with A/C and private bathrooms. It turns out that the third bedroom was in the attic with only a little opening for a window. The A/C was very noisy and only worked intermittently. On top of it all, the bathroom was located on the ROOF and it can only be reached by walking across the roof and out in the rain! Finally the property is located on a Main Street where large trucks pass through at all hours of day and night.
