Establecido en Cuzco, a 3 minutos a pie de Twelve Angled Stone, Casa Durand tiene check-in y check-out exprés y WiFi gratis en toda la propiedad. Excelente estadía, muy recomendable Maribel es una anfitriona muy amable y atenta; siempre estuvo pendiente de que todo estuviera bien. El alojamiento estaba impecablemente limpio y bien cuidado. La única observación es que la calle de acceso es algo estrecha y puede representar un riesgo por el paso de vehículos si vas con niños. Fuera de eso, todo fue excelente. Repetiría sin duda.

Very cozy place with a family-like feel, plus, you cannot ask for a better view from a hostel in Cuzco. The house has a big terrace on the upper floor and the whole city with its surrounding mountains is in front of you. Right under the place there is an archeological site- an aqueduct, check it out! Downstairs is an open space living room where a doggie usually lies on a couch ready for pets. The chef makes you good breakfast every morning plus there is always a selection of hot drinks available for you. The staff is super nice- any request we had, e.i. to bring a heater to the room or to have a hot water bottle brought earlier or to borrow a luggage scale- was immediately met. We had an Inca Trail planned in the middle of our stay ,so we left our suitcases in the hotel for 4 days and they were perfectly safe there the whole time. We read ahead that it is located on a hill so we knew that there is a walk up the hill from the centre, no problem for us, in fact, it served us to get acclimatised to the hight altitude.

Nuestra mejor estancia en Perú, económica, limpia y con una gran vista a todo Cusco. Carlos, el dueño, es la persona más servicial y amable de todo Perú, nos dio muchísima confianza y seguridad, y siempre brindó su ayuda en todo lo que necesitáramos. Las fotos son tal cual, se nos ofreció servicio de limpieza, y se nos permitió guardar los bolsos.

Contando con una terraza, Feliz Vista Casa-Hospedaje está ubicado en el centro de Cuzco, a 4.3 km de Wanchaq Train station. If you wanna be accommodated in a warm and friendly house, this is the one! Salome and his son helped us every time we needed info. They were so open and attentive to our needs which were to be heartly appreciated. The room was very simple: a bed, a table, a chair and a bedside table, but very, very clean and big enough. The breakfast was excellent every morning prepared by Salome: tea, coffee, milk, fresh juice, bread, omelette, ham, avocado, jam, butter and fruits. The shower had hot water every time we needed. 10 minutes to the center by foot and 15 or 20 minutes when coming up ( some stairs to be climbed ). A common terrace with a view over the city both during the day and the night. We weren't able to go to Machu Picchu because of the strikes at the end of January 2024, but Salome was so kind and arranged us to visit the Sacred Valley with just a few hours before the 1-day trip; many thanks for this as well.
