Ahmed is an exceptional host — welcoming, generous, and passionate about sharing the beauty of his village and his country. Despite it being the low season, he greeted us warmly and made us feel truly at home. He took the time to share fascinating stories about the history of the area, his traditional Omani house (over 200 years old!), and his beautiful farm and fruit fields. He also gave us plenty of helpful tips and recommendations about things to see and do in the region and across Oman. If you’re looking for a genuine experience in a charming and peaceful setting, we strongly recommend staying at Ahmed’s guest house. It was a highlight of our trip

Its a restored ancient house overlooking the green palm groves and situated at the top of the house the famous Rogan Castle built more than 1500 years ago. It was an exceptional experience from the moment we reached the inn until we left. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the view was stunning from every corner in the inn
