Highly recommend. I stayed here multiple times while traveling in Nepal.

Good facility with plenty of solar powered hot water, clean, well situated at the center if Kathmandu, away from the more touristy Thamel, very safe. A genuine Nepalese experience in a great neighbourhood. I stayed February/March 2025 and only left because it was fully booked beyond the dates I initially booked. Im hopeful its available next trip! Bobby owns and operates the place and made my stay awesome, picked me up from the airport and took me to many places it would have been difficult to arrange to go to; showed me all the essential shops in the area (theres a great convenience store downstairs) and gave me many tips on how to navigate the city's peculiarities. With city views, Laxmi Homestay with main square view is situated in Bhaktapur and has a restaurant and room service. The property has quiet street views and is 200 metres from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 12 km from Patan Durbar Square. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. I am a single solo woman traveller and Navin was so entousiastic that I stayed at his homestay. It is a nice family who make you feel so welcome in their house. I would like to experience the Nepalese way of life, and I did. I went with him on his morning prayers, ate the same as the family, went to see the Kathmandu Valley by scooter (everybody drives like They are crazy, but I felt very safe with Navin. And the best part is that he takes his guests to festiviteit/parties, also of his family. So I was invited to the celebration of his 6 months old nephew, who ate his First Rice. It was a party with more than 200 persons, eating and dancing. And They all liked it that I was there too, so nice. So blessed to experience this. Thank you Navin and your family, for these wonderful experience 😊

Offering a garden and garden view, Jungle Crown Organic Homestay is located in Nagarkot, 10 km from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 18 km from Boudhanath Stupa. It is set 20 km from Pashupatinath and offers bicycle parking. Free private parking is available and the homestay also provides car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. Definately will go back next time we are in nepal. The family was really nice and welcoming my daughter played with their daughter sometimes. It is in a perfect location, for example if you ride the local bus for a little bit then you will end up in the city of nagarkot to do the panoramic hiking trail. Just a short walk from the home stay is the suspension bridge and if you walk just a little longer you will find a beautiful waterfall. One last thing, this is only an opinion, but they had a dog that my daughter really loved.
