We didn't give it a 10 only because we found the price a bit on the high side compared to all the other places we stayed at during our 24 days road trip.

In some units there is a dressing room for guests to change in. This is a beautiful place quietly located a couple blocks from the main square. I really enjoyed watching the sunrise and enjoying a delightful breakfast from the rooftop balcony. This place radiates a warm and welcoming appeal and I found the bed very comfortable. Although I don't speak French or Darija, we were able to communicate effectively (partly with a translation app) and he was extremely hospitable and accommodating. I also found the area very nice to explore on foot and met many very friendly people around the city.

The exceptional design of the building conveys a relaxed ambiance that also keeps the building cool throughout the midday heat. The staff is great as is the food. The balcony is a great place to watch the sunrise and have breakfast. The surrounding area from the mountains, farms, historical sites and villages gives great opportunities for hiking around. I would highly recommend this kasbah.

The owner went above and beyond to provide an experience to all guests. The colours were spectacular and the love and passion he has for his culture, people and history was beautiful. I am so grateful I was able to experience this. I will be back inshallah

Featuring city views, Kasbah Maktob Tamnougalt in Agdz provides accommodation and a garden. The property was built in 1933 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. The guest house features a restaurant serving African cuisine, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. The owner, Mustafa, has done a marvellous renovation job on his kasbah, with Berber rugs and original artifacts scattered throughout. When we arrived he immediately made us feel like we were part of his family. The views of the oasis and mountains from the terrace are sublime. The food was delicious.

Set in Agdz, 6 km from Tamnougalt Viewpoint, Dar Jnane - La Maison Du Jardin boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. The guest house has a terrace and views of the garden, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. What a delight to have stayed a few nights at Dar Jnane with Lahcen and his family in the Palmeraie of Agdz. The garden of Lahcen is super calming, covered by datepalms with birdsong and crickets from the fields on the background. The house is beautifully decorated in traditional style. The atmosphere in the house was a pure delight, with the ladies always laughing or singing in the background and Lahcen being a true music lover you might catch him playing some classics in the living room or from his casettedeck in the garden. We were even most surprised by the tastefull dishes the ladies cooked for us while they joyfully cooked together. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Such a warm welcome with Moroccan tea and a lovely garden area with lots of seating and places to sit. We only stayed one night and Mohamed cooked us an amazing meal - soup, tagine and a lovely yogurt desert, all inside by the log fire as the temperature dropped at night. We were also very pleased with breakfast - a selection of pastries and bread, tea or coffee and yogurt. This was a perfect stay for us.
