The breakfast was delicious, fresh and various. The staff were very kind and helpful. All credits go to Hamid and his staff. Hamid made us feel home, made us enjoy all the flavours of Chefchaouen through the information that he provided to us. He also helped us with the luggage. Such a kind soul. For me and my mom this will be an unforgettable stay. We will for sure be back to this guests friendly and beautiful place. Thank you!

If you are looking for a place to relax, quiet, with breathtaking views and extremely kind staff, Iguana is everything you could want to spend extremely happy days in Chefchaouen. Starting with the location, which when you arrive in the vicinity of the Medina you will walk about 5 minutes to reach the accommodation. It is located inside the medina, close to all points of interest, picturesque streets, restaurants, cafes. Speaking of coffee, you will have a transcendental experience when you have breakfast beautifully organized by the iguana staff. In addition to being delicious and filling, the view is stunning, to the mountains. I loved to spend at least two hours of my day there relaxing. There is also, on the floor above, a decorated Rooftop, where you will have a panoramic view of the blue city 🫂 The employees are there to help with everything necessary, such as visiting tips, buying tickets, recommending restaurants and whatever else is necessary. The house is located in an interesting area — the view of the mountains from the window is definitely a highlight. The only thing breaking the silence is the sound of birds singing, which adds to the charm. The interior is pleasant and well-designed overall. The room was cozy and clean, with a private balcony featuring a power outlet, bar stools, and a beautiful view of the town and mountains. We arrived by car — the GPS led us right to the house, and there’s private parking available nearby. However, the road can be a bit tricky and bumpy in some parts. You can walk to Chefchaouen in about 15–20 minutes, but the way back is uphill, which can be quite tiring, especially in the heat. The service was absolutely amazing — the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Even late at night, they were available and helped us double-check our route. It truly felt like visiting distant family — that’s how warm and welcoming everything was. We also ordered dinner — it was delicious, authentic, and served with great music and a breathtaking view.
