The rooms were well sized and comfy. Would 100% Recommend!

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a year-round outdoor pool. The owner (Dim) was incredibly helpful. He organised a safari for us and included breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Safari was super nice, we had a private jeep and a private tour guide. He showed us the most beautiful spots and managed to find a lot of elephants!! We even saw a 2 month old baby elephant with his mum. It was an experience to remember forever.

Accessible via private entrance, all units have air conditioning, soundproofing, desk and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. At the homestay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. The AC worked great! There was a lovely pool and a yummy breakfast. The owner was super lovely and easily organized the safari for us. Can’t beat the price.

Very hospitable and lovely room with big, comfortable bed . The bathroom was big and the hot water was consistent . Absolutely fantastic. Thumbs up !

The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Wonderful place to stay to enjoy Udawalawe Park owned by a welcoming couple. The bungalows are large, clean, and beautifully constructed. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the evening and showering in the outdoor waterfall shower. We were greeted with tea and cake. Dinner is spectacular vegetarian Sri Lankan cuisine. Go for the tours offered by the hosts as well. They are great. We did a 4 hour morning safari and saw many elephants, often without other jeeps around, as well as loads of birds, plus water buffalo and a crocodile. All in all, a wonderful operation. Perfect one night stop for your time in Udawalawe.
