The room was super clean, with large and very comfortable beds. The bathroom was excellent, with its own shower tray and glass screen – not the typical Sri Lankan style where the whole floor gets wet. This made it much more comfortable for us as Europeans. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The only small point is that to reach the city center you need to take a tuk-tuk, but that was not a problem for us.

The food was absolutely delicious – all home-cooked meals prepared with love by the owner’s family, and every bite felt like a taste of authentic Sri Lankan home life. The guesthouse is located a little outside the busy town of Kandy, which turned out to be a big plus – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!), and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and heartwarming stay in Kandy!

The house is like a flower vase, surrounded by a beautiful garden, which is maintained adorably by the owner. Architecture and interior inside the house is something amazing. The serenity, specially if u seat quietly in the balcony at night, is mesmerizing. The owner is very welcoming and cordial. Breakfast was good too.

The accomodation is a bit on a hill but easy to reach with a tuktuk 1-2 Euros (or walking for 15 minutes). The room was very modern and the accomodation has a great view. We saw monkeys on the terrace in the morning. The Sri Lankan breakfast they was amazing as well.

I loved my stay in this spacious, spotlessly clean room - complete with a relaxing bathtub and stunning view - all at a very reasonable price. This place of Sri and his family is a truly hidden gem. So much love and calm you will find there within a truly authentic local experience. Highly recommend to stay there. We just stayed on night unfortunately but everything was truly amazing. Lovely host, communication, incredible breakfast and the room/house is in such a good calm nature area, still close to the city if you want to experience kandy.
