Even more convenient if you have a motorbike. Some of the restaurants nearby are good so you can just walk to get good food. Would recommend!

The breakfast was incredibly generous, luckily we fast from 4pm each day so we could fit it in by the morning. There was a large variety of food he kept bringing us so it certainly won't leave you wanting! The location is close to Galle so it makes access to the Fort quick and easy - which we loved. At the homestay, the units come with bed linen and towels. We were guests at Villa Ema for a week and it was difficult to leave. The villa is beautiful and gives you the feeling of being on holiday but at the same time a bit of home. We don't need to talk about the cleanliness - everything 10/10 and the service too. Every morning there is an insanely great authentic breakfast prepared by the grandmother. The family that manages this accommodation is just great, lovely and they turn every wish into reality. I even got a birthday present at the end. It was a wonderful holiday that I won't forget, we are very grateful for this hospitality and will definitely be back!

We had to catch a train at early 7 and she, even in the dazzling early hours, managed a TukTuk for us standing in the rain. Even a good friend wouldn’t do that for you at 6 in the morning.

We had a large room with our own bathroom and there is also a shared area between the rooms with some couches and a balcony. The fort is only a 15 min walk, which was fine. In the dark we did however prefer a tuktuk back.
