La Perla Bentota provided an excellent stay. The surroundings are beautiful, and the pool is perfect for relaxing. The location is also very close to the beach, which is a great plus. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. The staff, especially Nelson and the entire team, were friendly and incredibly helpful. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend La Perla Bentota.

Channa, the host , and his family are very supportive, helped to arrange airport transfer and some other trips. Strongly recommend.

I was recommended to stay here after my family visited in December. You really are made to feel welcome. I had a late arrival 3:30am and the young man was awake to let me in with a smile. Communication was fantastic from making the booking through to the period of my stay. Breakfast was plentiful consisting of eggs different each day, fruit, toast, fruit juice and tea/coffee. The room was absolutely spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. It was obvious to see that there was attention to detail with having the room looking nice. There was even a fridge and the air conditioning worked well. The bed was also very comfortable. Very little noise from outside. They even helped me with my next train. Thanks so much, I highly recommend.

There’s too much option to choose from. Baba, our day to day server, even jumped up to climb trees to get us some fresh coconuts. -Room is immaculate, you won’t find any dust and they clean everyday. It’s a nice feeling coming home from a day trip. We found almost no mosquitoes or insects at all. -Shower, it can be really hot shower above 8 o’clock in the morning, try to take your shower early. We enjoyed our outdoor shower, birds chirping and the river behind the property makes it really sound idyllic. -Location, it’s a bit in the middle of nowhere (which we enjoy), but you can easily access the road and the beach within 10 mins, and they provide tuk tuk (or car) to transfer to the nearest beach which is handy. - Staff! Shout out to Roshana, Baba, and Ishuru to name a few! Amazing people and very good at they do. The family provides recommendations for trips all around the country. They literary took us everyone, which we found super convenient and well priced. Overall, we were super impressed by this little gem!

My partner and I have been travelling for 8 months and this accommodation has been a highlight for us. I highly recommend getting the breakfast. It’s a generous Sri Lankan style breakfast and we enjoyed learning about how everything is cooked. There is also a small patisserie out the front serving a selection of baked goods that we enjoyed. The hosts are both very talented when it comes to making food. The room was perfect, wifi worked well, good air con and a comfortable bed. Book now!
