The host is superfriendly and caring. Splendid breakfast, so delicious and rich that i used to skip lunch ) The room was clean and comfortable, and there is a terrace, where you can relax in evening. This place is on a quiet little street, but there is a supermarket just five minutes walk away. To get to the beach you just need to cross the railroads by footbridge. And despite the fact that the railway is nearby, you don’t hear it. There also lives a dog, big and kind, but don't even think about touching his toy, you don't want it, belive me )

The family was very welcoming, they prepared dinner and a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast on our request. The room is also comfortable and very clean. We would definitely recommend!

You can enjoy mountain and river view from the balcony. This family-run compound, set off the main road and nestled in the forest, is an absolute delight. The staff, including all family members, are friendly, warm, and happy to help with whatever you need. The food is fantastic; it is all homecooked, and they will facilitate whatever you want. We are both vegetarian and the food that was provided was the best we had eaten in Sri Lanka. The nearby beach, accessible by free tuk-tuk ride, is simply the most magnificent, untrammelled beach I have ever seen. Spotless, golden sands, warm blue water and stunning scenery. The rooms are enormous with comfortable beds, clean (outdoor!) bathroom and a lovely porch. The entire resort was spotless. We spent 11 days in Sri Lanka in total, across a range of different style accommodations, 5* to 2* hotels and this was easily the best place we stayed.

Each unit is fitted with a patio, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a seating area, a TV, a washing machine, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and free toiletries. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also offered, as well as a kettle. At the homestay, the units have bed linen and towels. Location is fantastic. On the main road (yet not noisy at night) so easy to find. Close to Bentota railway station, beach, shops, restaurants, and the main town. The room and bathroom was so incredibly clean. What makes this place even more special is the couple that live there and own the place. Honestly, the most genuine and lovely people I’ve come across throughout my Sri Lankan adventure. Food can be provided up request for a small fee and is absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough. I wish I had more time so I could stay here longer! You will not regret staying here! It’s genuinely home away from home!
