The property was great and the air con worked well! There was enough privacy as we were round the corner from the house. The family were really lovely and kind people and they made us very welcome. They also both spoke very good English. They cooked a very delicious breakfast which we LOVED. They also kindly rented us bikes and drove us to Arugam bay at the end of our stay for a very good price. Thanks!

Instead of being in the middle of a bunch of other places, including a loud hostel next door, as Ubay was, this place is in a wide open, peaceful setting, the only close neighbor a church. Better breakfast at the same price - 1300 Free, filtered water A larger staff, very attentive, but unobtrusive, only there when you need them The two beaches nearby are quieter and less crowded Much thanks to Usha, the owner's wife, who speaks excellent English. She welcomed me graciously with fresh coconut water and gave me another one when I left.

The family was so beautiful, the room was very big and comfortable beds, great location with a short stroll to the beach, the family made us a lovely curry dinner one night which i highly recommend. TIP: the sunrise hotel which is just down the road let's you swim in the amazing big pool for the day if you rent a sun bed off them. It was 2000 rupiah per person and we also had lunch there.

The roof is covered with the greenery bougainvillaea over it. It was an awesome luxury stay with delicious homemade food, well maintained spacious room, and bathroom spotless. The owners were very friendly and made us feel at home. My kind note as an advice to the guests who will visit the Coastal Villa. It is my opinion to share. I have read some scandalous allegations of reviewers against Coastal Villa and for its owners, and I am not in a position to believe these lies at all honestly. They provided me with homemade delicious food that I have wanted and ordered. Within the time, the host Suzan and her husband had prepared my food at the appointed time and the food was so delicious and hot there was no disappointment within my stay. I was advised by the host where I could visit the places during my stay, and visited sites so amazing. I highly recommend this place candidly and will definitely visit again.
