This beachfront property offers access to a patio. When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. Our stay on Manda’s side at Mangrove House was truly wonderful. The location is unmatched, the peace and quiet are absolute. The staff is wonderful and so is the owner, super attentive and ready to help and share. The house is right in front of Shela and Peponi hotel, just a short boat trip away. Would absolutely go back, and recommend it to everyone going to Lamu!

It is located 700 metres from Gallery Baraka and offers luggage storage space. The guest house features family rooms. Katana my host at Samaki House was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable of the area. We had lovely conversations and he made a delicious breakfast. I enjoyed the room and the my overall experience at the house, I will definitely stay again!

There are a lot of good and not expensive restaurants around. The owner of the house did all to make it more than comfortable, arranged a pick up from the airport, gave me a free upgrade of the room, asked every day if I need or wish something, helped to find a amazing boat tour and enable to stay in the house a few hours longer. The host is a great guy, always smiling, ready to help with tips about Lamu and to accommodate all the needs you may have. He gave us a free room upgrade too. I def recommend you to stay in this fantastic place with an exceptional value for money and a great atmosphere.. location was great too!! I'd definitely go back when I'll be back to Lamu island
