Waking up to a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji right from our window was something we’ll never forget – truly magical. The communal kitchen was a lovely touch, thoughtfully stocked with breakfast essentials, tea, and coffee. We also loved watching wild deer wander by. There are bikes that are free to use and it’s only a 5-10 minute cycle to the nearest 7-eleven. We rented a car and were able to park directly outside. Other guests that we met didn’t have a car enjoyed walking to the nearest bus/ train station. The neighbour is quiet and very safe. What made our stay even more special was the owner. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. His hospitality added such a personal and warm touch to our visit.

Such a beautiful area which is very local, but still pretty easy to get around from here! Renting bikes was the highlight for us as we saw all of lake kawaguchiko so so easily and had an awesome day, when we got back we were treated by the large onsen style bath to enjoy and warm up! We had large suitcase and the owner happily took us to the station when we checked out which is so kind. Amazing place to stay!!

The host is very hospitable and although he speaks little english, he is good with technology and will help you out wherever he can. He prepared a welcome snack and drink when you check in. The tatami room is clean and spacious and if you are lucky, comes with a view of Mt Fuji. The bathroom is traditional and has a bath which is prepared for you every night. The location is around 20min walk from the main train station and is close to local shops.

Our room has twin beds, two sofas and loads of comics and toys for family stay. There are many hiking spots but unfortunately for us, sudden cold weather hits 😭, we will definitely stay here again, my best hostel so far😍!
