The shared kitchen was very well equipped and the shared living room was also very nice. The room was comfortable and clean.

The common area was lovely to spend time in and it was no issue storing our bags. The location is also easy to get to by bus from the JR station and it's a short walk to the main Nara sights (or you can rent his bikes for cheap). So welcoming and comfy. 10/10 recommend.

Close to train station, perfect for visiting both Nara and Osaka when you want to in the evening come back to a quiet and relaxing space :)

This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there. This is more than just a guest house- this is a beautiful place to bring people from all around the world together.

We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!
