The tractor theme and the story behind in (including the cowshed) are a highlight! The breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and nearby coastline from my room were simply awe-inspiring. The breakfast, featuring a delightful array of local and homemade delicacies, was a true feast for the taste buds. (Especially the homeade jam!) The use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients added an extra touch of authenticity to the dining experience, making it a perfect start to the day. Beyond the physical aspects of the guest house, the staff's extensive knowledge of the local area and their genuine passion for sharing Iceland's rich history and culture truly sets Drangar Guest House apart. Their recommendations for nearby attractions, hidden gems, and off-the-beaten-path experiences allowed me and my husband to explore Iceland in a truly authentic way, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We would love to back in the winter!

The bright and spacious rooms at Langaholt have simple décor and a private bathroom with shower. Guests can enjoy the scenery from the shared terrace or dine at the on site restaurant. The dinner buffet is better than we expected. The fish dishes, all the other side-dishes are very delicious. If you got a chance to visit here, dinner is really recommended!
