Upon arrival my hostess was quick to come and meet me outside making me feel very welcome. My room was very spacious with room to spread out my large suitcase on the extra bed. A full spread for tea and coffee was set in my room including biscuits and proper tea cups & saucers. There was milk (not artificial whitener) for my tea in a fridge that we could also use for our food. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows as well as all the linens and towels were great quality. The common spaces were modern and comfortable. And the hostess checked in before I went to bed. Great location to a lovely beach I wish I had booked this property for more than one night.

You’re 5 minutes from the town of Clifden with lots of dining options and shops. We enjoyed Guy’s Pub. If we find ourselves this way again, we’ll return. We loved the host’s Border Collies, Lily and Rosie!

Dun Ri was so very clean, the owners and staff were kindly attentive, and the breakfast offered was exquisite. This is exactly the type of family operated accommodation it is a pleasure to support with your business. Book without hesitation.

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town. Exceptionally high standard of guest accommodation, absolute comfort, attention to every detail, comfortable furniture, spacious rooms, beautiful furnishings, artwork, small details that received very careful attention. I have travelled in over 30 countries, have stayed in many B&Bs and occasionally in 5-star hotels, but never found a place that equalled the careful thought that has been put into the accommodation at Buttermilk Lodge in Clifden. We will certainly return and we have taken the business cards provided to share with all our friends. Having a private lounge/kitchen in addition to ensuite bedroom was wonderful, with large TV in both rooms. Our hostess, Catriona, had left very welcome food in the frig -including orange juice, milk, plenty of butter, jam and marmalade - and we greatly appreicated her home-made brown bread and fruitcake - which was really thoughtful and generous. The fact that Buttermilk Lodge provides conditions for self catering in a private lounge with fully equipped kitchen, made our stay less expensive than if we were eating out every day. This accommodation is very conveniently located to Clifden town and access to all the wonders of the Connemara landscape and coastal resorts.

Very friendly hosts, delicious breakfast, lovely decor in the bedroom. The host advised us to walk and swim on the beautiful Mannin beach which is in front of the house. The water was Crystal clear and the beach was lovely. We had a great stay.

Ofreciendo WiFi gratis y vistas al mar, Cloonan House es un hospedaje ubicado en Clifden. Very convenient location, only a few minutes drive from Clifden city center. Lovely space with incredible view of the ocean. Host was very responsive and checked in frequently to make sure everything was satisfactory. Continental breakfast was excellent and Catriona even checked in beforehand for food allergies and preferences. Would absolutely stay here again.
