Wonderful stay at Onar Hydra Onar Hydra is beautiful, spotless, and offers breathtaking views from the terrace. It's a bit of a walk up the Hydra stairs, but it's great cardio and part of the island’s experience. Matina was very nice and helpful — she made us feel truly welcomed. A peaceful and scenic retreat we’d happily return to.

Postcard worthy view from the balcony, incredibly well designed flat, comfortable bed, and hearty breakfast at the café downstairs. Would definitely recommend and return.

It is a traditional stone-made mansion with fully equipped rooms. It offers views of the historical town of Hydra and has a yard. The rooms include a TV, a kettle and free WiFi. Perfect location, delightful room, quiet and tranquil, but only 8 minutes walk from Hydra Port. Masses of good restaurants in Hydra. There are also many excellent restaurants, beautiful coves, bars and beaches 10-15 minutes walk from the town. Evita is a wonderful host, very keen to help with everything from restaurant and beach recommendations to arranging luggage transport to and from Hydra port. The rooms are immaculately clean and well equipped (fridge, induction hob, glasses, plates, Nespresso coffee machine, cutlery and even a corkscrew! Evita and Maria’s care and attention to detail make the Athina Guesthouse a very special place. Fresh towels every day, new tea, coffee and breakfast supplies. Five stars +! We got back to Athens today, and we’re already planning our next stay at the Athina. It’s a lovely, lovely place.
