I have stayed for 2 nights in the starlight hostel and I absolutely enjoyed it! The hostel is located in the beautiful village of the Quilotoa Loop. The view from the hostel is just stunning, the food delicious, the blankets are warm, the owners and workers such nice people. I absolutely recommend you to stay there to see how the sunset lights the mountains and clouds come to the valley. Gracias por el lugar tan hermoso!

Very attentive and helpful! The room was very clean with really hot showers! The vegetarian food was absolutely amazing and the banana bread is super delicious! The location is great for several hikes! We would love to come back!

This place is not as famous as the Llullu Llama Lodge but it offers the same quality and friendly atmosphere! The hosts (2 sisters) were super friendly, they lit the fireplace even though we were the only guests. The food was delicious and the portions were huge!

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Javier and his family were so accommodating. I needed to use a computer at a cyber cafe, and Javier offered to let me use his laptop for the morning because he wasn’t using it. Really great service.

Guests can dine in an outdoor dining area at the guest house. We had a fantastic experience staying at Hostel Café Tiana in Latacunga. It’s an excellent hostel — super clean, with great facilities, and incredible value for money. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of the best parts was being able to arrange our Cotopaxi summit tour directly through the hostel. Everything was extremely well organized — the equipment provided was top-notch, and our guides were professional, knowledgeable, and supportive the whole way up. If you're planning a visit to Cotopaxi or doing the Quilotoa Loop, this is the perfect base. We couldn’t recommend it enough!

The guest house also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Amazing place!! Hosteria Alpaka is run by a lovely woman who was so kind to us during our stay. She helped us with anything we needed and was very accommodating, preparing a take away breakfast for our last day as we were departing very early. Our shoes also got soaked on the hike to Quilotoa and she helped us dry them by putting up a fire. On the first day, before the start of the trek, we arrived to the hostel too late to have dinner anywhere and she made us some hot empanadas. Really 5 stars service. The rooms are huge and the bed is super comfy! They gave us a heater for the room which worked super well. Great hot shower also. Delicious breakfasts with everything you can wish for - fruit, eggs and bread and pancakes with muesli.

This hostel is really nice. The owner is very attentive and helpful. Kitchen is fully equipped , beds are really comfortable and overall toilets are very good. Totally recommend this place for travelers. 🏄‍♂️
