Blue Mall is 7.2 km away and Agora Mall is 7.3 km from the guest house. We loved our stay here. The place isn't fancy but its quite charming and fantastic value. The owners don't speak English but are very friendly. The pictures are accurate, the bed is comfortable, and the location is excellent in Ciudad Colonial just around the corner from the main pedestrian street. We also appreciated the shared kitchen and balcony to make meals there. Highly recommended.

The food was amazing, so were the drinks in the restaurant right next to the guesthouse. High speed WiFi. The beach was close by. Large and spacious room. Very clean and tidy. Wonderful staff. This is the only place I'll stay in Santo Domingo. It's right in the middle of the Colonial Zone which is safe to walk around day and night for tourists. The rooftop view is STUNNING and I caught the sunrise and sunset each day. The kitchen is huge and modern and was a pleasure to cook in - just make sure to ask for a cutting knife if you need :)
