I had the most wonderful stay at this handcrafted music-themed guesthouse by the serene West Lake. Every corner of the house is filled with artistic details – from handmade decorations to vintage musical instruments – it feels like stepping into a peaceful, creative retreat. The hostess is incredibly friendly and speaks excellent English, which made communication super smooth and welcoming. She shared lovely stories behind the decor and even gave me great local tips for exploring the lake and nearby cafés. The room was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with little touches that show real care and personality. Waking up to soft music and birdsong, then having tea on the balcony with a view of the lake, was unforgettable.

I loved this place so much more than I expected! Such a cozy, quaint, and quiet place for any traveler to stay, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful get away from the city. The location is wonderful, such a lovely area to walk around and explore, there’s so much to do and very accessible. the host who works there is so welcoming, both the he and the other worker was very attentive and friendly to our needs and the breakfast every morning was so delicious. They were very generous and gracious to me and my mom who stayed. I loved hanging out with the cute cat too, definitely a huge plus. It really felt like I was at home, such a warm atmosphere. I’m so grateful for being able to stay there. Also highly recommend you check out this incredible vegetarian restaurant just a 4 minute walk from the property, called Qingchun perma. You definitely don’t need to be vegetarian to enjoy the food, very high quality. I love everything about this stay.

I arrived in the evening after having visited the water town nearby. The lady at the reception was very kind: although she did not speak to much English, she had a device to translate. She did offer a welcoming wanton dish, truly tasty and well balanced. The bathtub was very enjoyable. This accommodation was within walking distance from the East Lake, and from the famous Dragon Tea plantations. The lady at the reception was very kind ad helpful with ideas, information and explanations about the place. I am very grateful to her

Hangzhou XianQingShan Homestay Westlake fica em Hangzhou, a 3,5 km de Templo Lingyin, a 7,1 km de Praça Wushan e fornece acomodações com Wi-Fi grátis, ar-condicionado, um jardim e um lounge... The property is located near botanical garden and at the end of the main restaurants/hotels area. During the night it was quiet. The garden is lovely specially in spring while fruits are ripen and trees are freshly green. I spent much time there listening to fish and the nine year old turtle. My room is small as I was solo. I have also used the Japanese room for my yoga. They serve nice quality tea and it’s part of the experience to be in the tea capital of south China. I plan to stay there again in my future visit.

I liked everything, the person running the hotel was so helpful. It was a long way from shops and restaurants but he took us in his car which gave him extra pocket money save calling taxi.

Hangzhou Moju Boutique Guesthouse at the West Lake oferece jardim, lounge compartilhado, terraço e restaurante em Hangzhou. Location was as expected - in a quaint quiet village surrounded by tea plantations, a short walk away from the historic walks thru the area. The staff and owner were exceedingly helpful with accommodating our breakfast timing requests and breakfast was delicious. They also helped us book transport to Shanghai via a lunch stop Wu Zhen. The room was spacious, clean and modern with an amazing panoramic view of the village and plantation.
